Review of Chocolate
General Thoughts
I bought this bar in a Brazilian corner grocery in Georgia, USA on a whim with really little understanding of anything about it. White chocolate is not really my preference and convenience store chocolate is not always the best, but I do not often see Brazilian chocolate so thought it would be worth a try.
Sight
Very white in color and you can possibly see flecks of lime zest embedded into the bar.
Sound
The chocolate was surprisingly very hard to break apart.
Smell
It smelled creamy (which I associate with white chocolate) and sweet with possible slight hints of fruit.
Taste
Extremely sweet taste that is pleasantly paired with citrusy lime notes. The sweetness lingers for a bit too long, but the lime taste fades well.
Mouthfeel
The bar had a very creamy and warm mouthfeel, and the chocolate melts slowly but smoothly.
Conclusions
Overall, this bar was actually pretty good, and I would purchase it again. However, it is not very high on my list of favorite chocolates because it is a bit too sweet for my preferences.
